1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all purchases of goods and services made by you ("Customer", "you", "your") from us ("we", "us", "our", "[Scale Products Ltd]"), whether in store or via our website.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not place an order with us.

2. Products and Availability

All products listed are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any products or services without prior notice.

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, minor differences in colour or appearance may occur due to digital displays.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT (where applicable).
Delivery charges (if applicable) are displayed separately and clearly before checkout.
Payment must be made in full at the time of order. We accept:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) via Square, our payment processing partner.

We reserve the right to refuse any order where we suspect fraud or misuse.

4. Order Process and Contract Formation

Once you place an order, we will send you an order confirmation. This confirms receipt but does not constitute acceptance.

A binding contract is formed only when:

We dispatch your order; or
We explicitly accept your order in writing

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch all goods within 1 working day, subject to stock availability.

Delivery services and timeframes:

Standard Delivery: 2-4 working days
Express Delivery: 1-2 working days
Click & Collect: If offered, items will be held for 7 days after notification of readiness

We are not liable for delays outside our control (e.g., courier delays, weather conditions). If a delivery is significantly delayed, we will inform you and offer the option to cancel your order for a full refund.

Risk passes to you once goods are delivered. Ownership transfers only when full payment is received.

6. Cancellation Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to cancel your order for most products within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To cancel, you must:

Notify us in writing (email or letter) within 14 days
Return the goods within 14 days of cancellation
Keep the goods in their original condition

Exclusions (non-refundable items) include:

Personalised or custom-made items

Refunds will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned goods.

7. Returns and Refunds

If goods are:

Unwanted: You must return them at your own cost, unless faulty
Faulty or Not as Described: We will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund in line with your statutory rights

All returns must be:

Accompanied by proof of purchase
In original packaging (where possible)
Sent to the returns address provided to you

We recommend using a tracked service. We are not responsible for returned items lost in transit.

8. Faulty Goods and Warranty

You are entitled to:

A full refund within 30 days if the goods are faulty
A repair or replacement within 6 months
A partial refund or repair if faults appear within 6 years, depending on product life and use

This does not cover:

Accidental damage
Wear and tear
Misuse or failure to follow instructions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss.
Our total liability is limited to the price paid for the goods.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights.
